Artists on fire - facebook group.

It is a free area for exchange and solidarity, where creative ideas and actions are exchanged for money. Temporary unemployed artists can offer their services, artistic or household. And those who want to support them can formulate their own requests. The group operates on the principle of a free market, where demand meets supply and vice versa.

Even in times of pandemic, we feel that artists can offer something special to society. Don’t limit your imagination: the craziest offers will shape the demand!

The only condition: Any work has to be paid for!

CLOUDME - vulnerable performance
International Summer Festival of Arts “The Access Point” 2020
30 may - 26 june
Tickets

Now I am like a cloud that does not have clear boundaries.

What part of me is stored in the body of the computer and phone? Is my social networks - also me? Where does this shift my vulnerability? What if Marina Abramovich’s “Rhythm 0” would be transferred to digital space? What would be the tools for pleasure and pain?

All participants receive an invitation to the Zoom conference. One of them is given full access to the performer’s computer. How far will a person go who will be given control of a performer’s computer with silent online witnesses? How will the participant behave?

Each action leaves its mark. Even if the trace from the mouse cursor is not as obvious as a cut from a knife

VirusMask is the pack of Instagram effects we made together with Kolya Mulakov (@kolya.mulakov) at the very start of self-isolation in Moscow. We just wanted to spread the message that fear is ok to feel and no one has the right to tell you when and how to; sympathy is something that you can experience and show without limits -  no one has the right to tell who is more worthy of it. And of course there was the one more message - to stay home, to choose quarantine without waiting from government.

«Jandl’ Cinema-Cube» -  October 2019 - The State Central Film Museum.

In this work, the cube is a multi-channel receiver that captures cinema-poetic signals. One is the worldwide search for language, shown with the help of avant-garde cinema. The other signal is a personal artistic search.

Marie Patsyuk - The Mouse - Art chat µzolation - March 2020
During a 9-hour broadcast - a trip through the utopia of the post-apocalyptic Mutabor, in which the coronavirus died and P-Orridge is alive - live sets, concerts, skaters, creating a picture, dance-transformation, romances.
My experiment was the stream chat. I tried to develop a character’s speech (in a chat room) separated from his body (the character himself was in Mutabor) and find possible communication. Through dreams, quotes, instant reactions, emojis and personal feelings.
As a result, a Mouse-conductor with narcolepsy was born, sensitive to sounds, speaking in the words of Tarkovsky, Benjamin, Brotigan, Jarmen and Dostoevsky, but linked to what was happening on the screen, happening in the chat room and to me, sitting at the open window.

“The Motor of Desires”
Marie Patsyuk (concept) + Ira Ga (choreographer) + Dmitry Vlasik (composer)
December 2019, Mutabor

Work for three dancers, a percussionist and a performer.
The starting point was Marcel Duchamp’s work "The Big Glass”, which is considered incomplete.
“The Motor of Desires” is a cycle of passivity and activity, divided into three components: a trio of dancers, a mono-performance and an interpretation of Marcel Duchamp’s Erratum Musical (based on chance), played with eggs.
The three parts exist separately, in a state of splitting. It is a place of impossible encounter ( of female and male, illusory and real, MAR and CEL) free from the final meaning.

Dec 11

Experience of immersion in darkness, the return to memory, the search for a new language to talk to the world and yourself as a part of it.
Interpretation of the 24-hour practice of vision deprivation based on my audio documentation of the experience.

Close your eyes.
Are you here alone?
Why are you so scared? Will it get better?
Whose face will you recall first?
How long has it going?
Am I adjusting to the room or is it adjusting to me?
I’d like to walk you, but I don’t know where to go.
Ducks in the pond, daddy makes a remark to the kid, the dog barks.
There are no that many important things, it’s hard to mix them up.
Where’s the dream Where’s the reality  Where’s me
Waking up means closing your eyes.

Marie Patsyuk (experience of vision deprivation) + ibragim - music&visual.
The work was presented at Mutabor as part of Radio Morpheus event on 6 September 2019.
Video fragment is just a mobile documentation from the audience.
